Learn the moves to use throughout pregnancy and in labor to help baby come out singing. Dancing for Birth combines the wisdom of traditional women’s dances from around the world with the latest research to help mommas stay fit and prepare for an empowering birth experience. Not only do these classes help you feel more empowered as a woman, but you can continue the classes after your baby is born by wearing he or she in a wrap. Many benefits include bonding with baby, getting back to that pre pregnancy body, feeling supported by a wonderful community as a new or born again mama and learning different moves that can help soothe your baby. Dancing for Birth classes are designed to teach your body many of the best natural positions for birth and help you feel comfortable using them. The class also covers childbirth education topics such as fetal positioning, stages of labor, pain management and more. Each Dancing for Birth class includes:
Belly dance and other traditional dance forms
Prenatal yoga and stretching
Relaxation, breathing and pain management techniques
Birth ritual exploration
Community with other mamas

Classes are limited in size for personalized coaching and encouragement. Currently, I hold my classes at Soul Spirit Studio in Holliston, Ma every Tuesday starting at 7pm. Pre-registration is required to insure enough dancing skirts and space for each participant. Jingle skirts are $20 and yours to keep after purchasing. Single classes are $18.
