About Rachael
Welcome to my website! My name is Rachael and I am a Certified toLabor Birth Doula a CAPPA trained Postpartum Doula, a Dancing for Birth Instructor and a trained Newborn Care Specialist.
My journey to become a Doula started after I had my second child. I realized the importance of having emotional and physical support during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. My love of helping families and children started me on the path of interning as a nurse in an OB/GYN office to then becoming a pediatric nurse, but I realized that my heart's desire was leading me towards connecting with those families on a more deeper and personal level. I have had 2 hospital births of my own and 1 homebirth and have helped over 60 families welcome their own babies into the world. Each birth being special, unique and miraculous in it's own way. Further, I have helped many families in the first months of home life with a newborn. I love teaching and guiding new parents into parenthood. When I am not helping parents with their own families, I am spending time with my 3 kids and husband, hiking with friends and family, gardening, attempting a new DIY house project and browsing any vintage shop I come across.

Although I became a Birth Doula in the fall of 2011 and a Dancing For Birth™ Instructor in the Spring of 2014, I am currently only taking on Postpartum Clients. I became a Postpartum Doula in Fall 2014. Support shouldn't just stop once the baby is born. I believe that in order for a baby to thrive parents need loving, non judgmental support. I am located in the Hillsborough County of New Hampshire. If you would like to discuss further how we can work together, please click here: Contact.
